(ADPnews) - Mar 18, 2010 - Milan's FTSE MIB blue-chip index shed 0.51% to 22,785.15 on Thursday, affected by sell-offs in the oil and industrial sectors and a widespread profit taking across Europe after the recent rallies.
The FTSE Italia All-Share closed down 0.49% at 23,246.51.
Bottom of the blue-chip index came steel pipes maker for the oil industry Tenaris (BIT:TEN), losing 1.89% to EUR 16.05.
Power giant Enel SpA (BIT:ENEL) came next, with shares closing down 1.84% at EUR 4.1225. Enel reported on Thursday a 1.9% annual rise in 2009 net profit to EUR 5.395 billion (USD 7.378bn). Yet, the dividend of EUR 0.25 per share was below the analyst …
